Kevin's many successes include having edited and/or written more than 500 peer-reviewed published articles, 100 grants, and dozens of published Web pages, newsletters, dissertations/theses, etc.

He single-handedly wrote a foundation grant that received funding, and when he wrote the progress report, the foundation doubled the funding unasked.

He copyedited the entire second edition of the 636-page textbook Tumors of the Soft Tissues.

He is an author on “Tips for Better Visual Elements in Posters and Podium Presentations” published in Education for Health.

Perhaps the best example of his ability to research, interview, synthesize, and write is his 537-page book about his travels around the country viewing Edward Hopper paintings and interviewing locals: Hunting Nighthawks.
